THE FIVE TENORS

Much excitement in Lordship Park this morning as the 5 Tenors, 7 stylists, 1 photographer, 3 assistants, 2 translators, 1 caterer and a bus driver showed up in an old route-master and parked right outside the house. They all loved Lotus and the 5 Tenors took it in turns to be photographed with her. EVERYONE loves Lotus, well almost everyone...
ENZO! Enzo, look at me. Enzo, listen! Listen to me. Are you listening? Right. PUGS ARE FRIENDS NOT FOOD, okay?

Got to go.... Stella McCartney shoot today and there's the vestiges of a lavish vegetarian banquet upstairs (including an untouched strawberry cheesecake) waiting to be 'tidied away'.

Nero

We just got a call from Universal Records asking if the house is free this Thursday for a shoot with a hot new band called… I can’t remember what they’re called, but when I mentioned them to the boys this morning I got a flicker of interest from John and Joe - which surprised me actually as I was under the impression that they no longer processed anything I said.

Here are some shots of Nero from the last time Universal were here. I'll let you know who this new lot are on Thursday.

In Style

Ooo, just came across these lovely pictures of Freya Mavor in February's InStyle Magazine. Shot here by Arved Colvin-Smith.

John: "Mum. Do me a favour. Next time Freya Mavor is doing a pyjama shoot here please can you tell me."

Special Delivery

Eeek! this big brown envelope must be my JLS Top of the Pops Special!! Hopefully ordering a teen mag on line has drastically readjusted my 'profile' and I won't be getting any more of those pesky "Fifty-two year-old mum of three loses 10 kilos of belly fat" pop-ups. Right, let's go somewhere private, where I'll be left in peace for five minutes while I open it. Ooo, there they all are on the cover. Squeal! Let's have a quick flick through... Blimey! they're on every page. Hey, nice one of them larking about in the beaded curtains... Ahh, there's Marvin on the red sofa balancing a cup-cake on his head - sweet but not what I'm looking for. Ha! here's Aston in the swinging chair! brilliant! Wow! this life-size poster will come in handy - I'll look at it properly later. Now, where is it? Not here, not here. Aww, don't they look lovely in their suits? Not on that page... Not on this page... What's this? "Who's your  love match? Take our test to find out which of the four fitties is for you"...  I haven't got time for that...well not now anyway. Where IS it? All these pages and pages of interviews... "Aston, do you always carry a tissue?" Aston. "No I don't, but I do carry anti-bacterial wipes." Interesting, but not what I'm looking for right now. Where the HELL is it?! Don't tell me they didn't use that shot in the end. Cute... here they are having tea, here they are having Nando's, here they are having a group hug. Bloody hell! WHERE IS IT? Yes, yes, YES!!! FOUND IT!
OMG! AMAZING! Pass me a cigarette.

JLS In Our Basement

I just found this on the internet - filmed here in the summer. I've only gone and missed the Special JLS edition of Top Of The Pops Magazine which was shot here and came out in November. Damn. I've had to bid for one at a vastly inflated price on eBay. Still, it promises no less than 3 posters of the boys and 26 pages of piccies and gossip. Ooo - can't wait!

Peter Andre In My Bedroom

Keith Lemon was on Celebrity Juice the other night waving around a copy of Peter Andre's book - My World: in pictures and words.
'Heyy - there's our house!' shouts Ed pressing the pause button.

Lots of the pics for the book were shot here, including the front cover...
and here he is on the red velvet sofa...

Sunny Sunday

This is an untouched photo of the sky above Somerset House yesterday; it really was an unbelievably vibrant, Aegean blue. London looked amazing and is definitely the most beautiful city in the world - well it was yesterday - today under leaden skies it slipped into 3rd place.
Tess Daly looks pretty, sat on one of our shabby French chairs for the cover of yesterday's S Magazine.

An Italia Conti Star and Pixie Lott

Lovely Pixie Lott came here in September to have her picture taken for Bliss Magazine and the issue is in the shops today! Ed has avidly followed her rise to stardom, partly because she went to the same school as him and partly because she's so genuine, warm and seemingly unaffected by her success. She chatted to Ed and Ryan about Italia Conti and they shared a few amusing stories about the teachers - no names mentioned.

Celebrity Christmas Shoot

I have a new pet - the sweetest Robin  darted about beside me in the garden ALL afternoon while Enzo was sound asleep indoors. He would only have barked incessantly at it, outraged that a creature had dared trespass into his territory and shocked and disgusted that I actually spoke to the waste of space. It was a pleasant day. I raked up some leaves and had a general tidy up out there because the minute night falls the garden will be transformed into a winter wonderland. The plan is to string fairy lights around the gazebo and dredge the patio with fake snow ready for our Celebrity Christmas Cover shoot.  We are on high alert: a dress that is so exquisite and so expensive that it has it's own chauffeur driven car is being sent over from Knightsbridge. When it arrives we coo over it but don’t dare to touch it. When the sleb shows up there is no-one around to greet her because we’re all busy being bedazzled by the bejewelled dress. She makes her way down the side of the house, past the recycling bins and in through the basement door. Joe and Ed are sprawled on the sofa surrounded by crisp bags and half eaten toast snacks. They have headphones on and can’t hear her chirpy 'hello', so ignore her, not taking their eyes off the carnage on the TV screen. She clambers over the two whippets and picks her way through a sea of discarded shoes, school bags, PE kits and other crap that has accumulated on the floor.
‘Wasn’t that what’s her name off that programme?’ Ed says to me at bedtime.

JLS at Lordship Park

What to wear?

At 6am it's dark. I'm hungover. From the heap of clothes on the dressing room floor I need to pull together some kind of outfit that will be suitable for whatever the day has in store.
As it turns out -
- Dropping Ed at the bus stop for 7.15
- Hoovering.
- Feeding dogs the ghastly mush.
- Walking dogs in the park.
- Helping a set builder bring a man sized cage into the house.
- Greeting a few people from the BBC, two photographers, a couple of stylists, a groomer and various others.
- Kissing all four members of a boy band at the front door.
- Ciffing pigeon shit of the UFO.
- Having a lie down.
- Whipping up some lunch for Bri.
- Raking up rotten apples and chucking them in the compost.
- Struggling with reluctant whippet who CBA to have her picture taken with JLS.
- Flicking liver treats off Marvin's trousers.
- Picking Ed up and taking him doctors to have his tonsils looked at.
- Driving Ed to Palmers Green for gym class.
- Food shopping for the weekend.
- Saying hello to bunch of weeping girls outside the house as I struggle in with bags.
- Making curry.

Twiggy in Stokey, Trust

Another style icon visited Lordship Park yesterday. Twiggy was being photographed here for You Magazine. Brian was having a chat with her about dogs and turns out she is lending her support to the Retired Greyhound Trust. Top Model!

Stay tuned to find out which celebrities we have here today !! ;D
